More than 10,000 women from various Nordic countries (primarily Denmark, Norway, Sweden, and Iceland) converted to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints between 1850 and 1920 and immigrated to Utah. Their experiences of conversion, migration, and settlement were shaped in significant ways by their cultural heritage and linguistic identity. This website is intended to gather their stories and life writings and make them available to students, researchers, scholars, and interested individuals.
