Birthe Catharine Hansdatter Heltman was born on 19 September 1804, in Akershus, Norway. She married Ole Christophersen on 24 November 1826, in Oslo, Norway. They were the parents of 4 sons and 3 daughters. She lived in Aker, Akershus, Norway in 1875. She died on 4 July 1890, in Logan, Utah, United States, at the age of 85, and was buried in Logan, Utah.
