A couple years later, she was baptized into the Church of Jesus of Latter-Day Saints and emigrated to the United States. It was there she met her second husband, Bengt Persson, and they were sealed in the St. George temple on October 24th, 1877. Albertina would go on to have 12 more children, many of which didn’t survive past infancy, and outlive her husband by 19 years.
