Biography
Augusta was born in Sweden in 1854 as the sixth of seven children. She grew up in a nice home by a lake and forests. At age 8, she immigrated with her family to Utah. There, Augusta met and married Ormus Bates when she was 20. Together they had eight children. She was known to have a noble character and lovable disposition. Later, Augusta moved to Idaho, where she died at age 72.
