Maria Sophia Larson was born on 9 January 1874, in Trollhättan, Sweden. She married John Albin Christenson on 16 October 1895, in Salt Lake City, Salt Lake, Utah, United States. They were the parents of at least 8 children, 5 of which died in their infancy. She immigrated the United States in 1891. She died on 3 July 1942, in Los Angeles at the age of 68.
